Mindful Futures Initiative

Mindful Future Initiative (MFI) is a global educational and community movement co-led by Peers and the non-profit organization CHI Voices, aiming to bring evidence-based practices like Mindfulness-Based Strengths Practice (MBSP) into real-world youth and family settings.

At its core, MFI is about making mental health, emotional resilience, and character development accessible, practical, and youth-powered—from underserved communities to forward-thinking schools.

Why We Created MFI

While the science behind MBSP, ACT, and SEL has benefited from decades of research, many families—especially those in marginalized or under-resourced contexts—have little access to these life-changing tools. MFI is our way of bridging that gap.

But this is more than a community initiative. For PearZ, MFI represents a strategic cold-start model:A bottom-up, grassroots-driven growth strategy that proves our platform’s value from community to curriculum, from real stories to real data.

This movement is not built on speculation. It’s built on student action, parent trust, and real-world transformation.

Our Initial Pilot Sites

• Created the first student-led reflection wall on inner strengths

Newburgh Community Center

Organized by CHI Voices with student volunteers from SKS, this pilot brought MBSP and emotional literacy training to underserved parents and children.

• 96% parent satisfaction in post-session surveys

• Parents volunteered to help translate, co-lead, and record reflections

• Sparked a bilingual storytelling initiative about “resilience at home”
